Malle
Alex Fuster and Sara Mingolla / from 7:30 p.m. / Private Garden
Malle Festival EiMa 2025

From tradition and the desire to return to the roots, with a touch of freshness. With the ambition to recover what has always been ours and embrace it through a queer perspective. Transforming our rhythms, the points, the hustle and bustle. A fandango, a conversion of language, an electronic gimmick, a gloss for all. Inhabit the towns, the streets, the fields. With this new creation we investigate Mallorcan traditions and bring them closer to our collective day-to-day lives as young people who belong to the LGBTQIA+ community. How they have left a memory within us. How we remember them from childhood, how they are transmitted and how we can play with them. What is our place within the Mallorcan tradition? We want to keep it alive, we want to recover it; we don’t want it to be lost in a world that is constantly changing and bombarded by tons of information, by globalization, mass tourism and centralization.
