Concert
Sembrant Veus / from 7:30 p.m. / Es Pujolet - Deulosal
Sembrant Veus a Festival EiMa 3035

We are preparing a very particular concert that has not yet been born. A concert that will be fully rounded out the day we all meet together in the stubble. The songs will be Mediterranean and Andean trunyelles, as our melodies always are. However, this time the sound fabric with which we will play will be different. We want to fill our songs with many voices. We propose to CREATE and BREED an intimately communal musical moment. Participatory. Full of messages from the earth. And from the sea. With life at the center and the joy of the encounter as the best excuse. A concentric concert full of peripheral sounds. A migrant concert. A concert with songs of use, bedtime tunes, songs of professions, and sounds that want to come out to tell.

A summer party. A giving and receiving. A sharing of our harvests. A spontaneous peripheral organic song. A space for children, young people, adults and godparents. A solar concert that splashes us all.

In the Andean world, not only are children and animals raised, but also food. What is cared for, what is loved, is raised and cultivated. What has life and meaning. That is why we have chosen to raise music as well. And raise the sea.

And you… if you had to sow in the sea, what seed would you choose?

Sembrant Veus
Sembrant Veus wakes up every day in the Andes mountains, although the thread of love with the Mediterranean seed never disappears. Or rather, it is an intact and very powerful thread. This duo (made up of Alejandra Scotto (Argentina) and Neus Salvà (Mallorca)) that already has more than 15 years of experience, despite all the metamorphoses experienced (and those that will come) maintains its essence in essence. The great predilection for the roots music of the peoples is still very present, although each peak the own creations take up a more important space, always linked to “the rituals of every day” and with nature and culture, which give us wings and roots, and bring us closer to the earth reminding us of its voice. They say that the earth (and the sea) if we listen to it has so much to tell us… In 2021 they won the Ciutat de Manacor Award, Song by Guillem d’Efak. They have recorded two albums, several audiovisual works and today they combine the invisible creation that motherhood and raising two small children entail with the musical creations that they are gradually returning to, from new internal places, that bring other tempos, priorities and new sonic curiosities.
